Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ)

HOW DO I APPLY?
All vendors need to complete a ​new vendor form​ before registration. Only approve vendors will participate in that months’ market.

HOW MUCH VENDOR SPACE AM I ALLOWED?
Each vendor is allowed a 6 foot table to vend.

CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL SPACE?
Yes. For more space just simply buy another vendor space. (We we suggest you do this during the early bird deadline.) Each space is 6 feet.

HOW EARLY CAN I SETUP?
Setup time starts at 4pm. Setup time is between 4:00pm-5:30pm. If you arrive after 5:30 for any reason you will be transferred to the next vending opportunity. Vendors must stay until 10pm. ​Once you arrive at the Buffalo Soldiers Museum please come in and sign in before you begin unloading.
NO EXCEPTIONS​​.

HOW​​ ​ARE VENDORS PLACED?
Our market is first come first serve. A BLCK Market member will have a sign-in sheet. Promptly at 4pm, vendors will be placed in the order of the sign-in sheet. Vendors are allowed to come inside the museum through the BLCK Market main entrance to start a line for sign in. Please leave you merchandise in your car during sign in.

WILL TABLES BE PROVIDED?
No. You are required to bring your own 6 foot table to vend. If you would like to to rent a table… tables are not available to rent.

WILL CHAIRS BE PROVIDED?
Yes. Two chairs will be provided for each vendor.

WHERE DO I PARK?
Please park in the Buffalo Soldier National Museum parking lot or the Houston Community College parking lot. Do not park in the police parking lot.

WHERE DO I UNLOAD?
There are two entry ways into the Buffalo Soldiers Museum. Please unload on the side of BSNM on the stairs entrance. If you need to use the elevator please come through the main BSNM entrance in the BSNM parking lot. Please be patience and allow each vendor to unload in an orderly fashion.
